Professor Schneider is a Partner at Baker & McKenzie LLP where he represents clients in tax planning and controversy matters with an emphasis on partnership, corporate joint venture, REIT, and S corporation tax planning in both the domestic and international context. His work crosses several industries including real estate, energy, investment partnerships and the financial sector. Mr. Schneider has also worked in the National Tax Department of Ernst & Young, LLP and as an Attorney-Adviser in the Passthroughs division of the IRS Chief Counsel’s Office. He has extensive experience lecturing on partnership taxation issues and has also authored or co-authored thirteen articles on the subject.
